Who Are We?

At Little Earth Shepherds Preschool, we nurture more than young minds, we cultivate a family. Founded in 2014 as a community outreach initiative by Trinity Presbyterian Church, our school offers warm, innovative approach to early childhood education. We combine academic excellence with a caring, close-knit environment, where every child is welcomed as part of our extended family.

Conveniently located on Cranbury Road just steps from Central School and a short walk from East Brunswick High School. We are perfectly positioned for families seeking both quality education and a supportive, community-driven experience at Little Earth Shepherds, we don't just teach; we inspire, nurture, and grow together as one family

Our Curriculum

At Little Earth Shepherds Preschool, we are proud to offer in a comprehensive, high quality early childhood education that prepares children for success in kindergarten and beyond. Our curriculum is grounded NAEYC best practices ensuring a whole child approach that nurtures academic, social, and emotional growth through play, exploration, and intentional teaching.

To provide a strong academic foundation, we align our program with the East Brunswick School District curriculum, ensuring that our student develop the skills and knowledge needed for a smooth transition to kindergarten. Our educators thoughtfully integrate early literacy, math, and social development benchmarks, fostering confidence and readiness for next step in their educational journey.

In addition, we incorporate STEM education, immersing children in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through hands on experiments, interactive problem solving, and real-world exploration. These experiences cultivate critical thinking, curiosity, and innovation-skills essential for 21st century learners.

We also embrace Emelia Reggio inspired approach to art, recognizing creativity as a powerful tool for learning. Through open ended artistic expression, children engage with a variety of materials and techniques, encouraging self-expression, collaboration, and deeper connections to their environment.

By blending NAEYC best practices, the East Brunswick curriculum, STEM education, and Reggio Emilia- inspire art, our program provides a well-rounded, enriching early learning experience that fosters independence, creativity, and a lifelong love of discovery.
